Problems and solutions (Part 1)

Hi. This is XY. Usually you wouldn't see me updating the blog unless there is a giveaway or there are some issues that I'd like to address. Today, fortunately and unfortunately, I'll be bearing good news and addressing some problems.

As most of you have known, @exochen_sg have been collaborating with us for a few mass orders since the release of MiD albums. We've been having issues with them on our latest collaboration, which is about the MiD files. We've been delaying in giving them the files because they are still unable to give us the full payment of all the files they have ordered.

Initially, I told them they can pay us later, but I need to know the number of orders because I'm afraid that it will be out of stock. It happened before, an example would be the lack of posters for MiD albums. I told them it's okay to give me the numbers in batches, which they did. Like this:

sehun x 2
blah x 3
blahh x 4
blahhh x 1

And then the next time round they gave me,

sehun x 4
blah x 5
blahh x 4
blahhh x 7

Which I added the orders as accordingly, at the end when I asked time and again to confirm the numbers, which they did. After which, the files are already ordered and packed, which we paid for them to be shipped over. With our own money. When the files arrived, we requested for payment to be made then they started to collect payment. But the numbers they then confirmed again didn't tally. Example, it was suppose to be 50 files, the numbers they gave me in the end is 20 files because some of the people who ordered from them didn't pay, or mia, and etc. You see the issue?

Trapped with too many instocks, we told them they have to find someone else to take over the files of those who mia because it is not like $20, it is a lot of money that we paid for them. After transferring us whatever they have received, we told them we'll only give them the files when full payment is made because from past experience, once people get what they need they will definitely give you the "idgaf" attitude. We have to protect ourselves somehow.

When this issue happened, admin of @exochen_sg told us that they are students and they have no ability to make full payment. She actually proposed that we can do a giveaway for the files, with that many files it's at least a few hundreds. Sky obviously rejected that idea. Which we told them to find other people to buy from them and we tweeted for people to get from them on few occasions. If it had been a few files, we might agree to that idea, with probably 30 (i'm unsure of exact figures), which sane person would do that?

After all these while, we haven't been rushing them to pay us, or at least I didn't. Then came a few texts from admin of @exochen_sg that had made Sky really pissed, to the point that she actually told me about what happened. We held on to their files, the files that they've ordered held onto our money. They were exhausted, so were we!

We will be quoting a few texts here.

"I had enough. Then what do you want us to do? Like seriously. I'm not trying to pick a fight right here. I believe you earn alot from those mid albums that we order from you all?

Its been 4 months, in this 4 months, you have no idea how much hard work I have put in just to look for buyers and those complains, trying to persuade each of them. There are even people that demand to be refunded. Can't you just let us have the files we have paid. I already had enough.

If you want to reason it out, I have many things that I want to reason it out. Firstly when I ask for when the payments for the files to be in, no deadline was given however, when the payments was asked to be in, it was so last minute that I sent our tweets to buyers and some backout and ignored. You ask me to find other buyers, I'm fine wiht that so I did, I search high and low for buyers and my admins & I even buy a few other files on our own.

We didn't complain. And now, when we really need the files, you demand us to find other buyers? I don't even think that you even know how I feel about this matter. I get criticised and even on my looks, complains about my fanbase when I just want to spread the love for jongdae and this is what I get in return. I've been really nice. If it's other fanbase, I'm not trying to mention anyone of whatever, but do you even think that they will even get their hands onto in this matter so deeply to even buy all the files on their own? My personal point of view, No.

Please reply to this asap. I just want the files that our fanbase/those who had paid for to be collected within this week. After this, I won't even want to mention about it anymore."

The purpose of this post is not to pick a fight with @exochen_sg, or to bully kids like the admins. The purpose is to show you what happened, and how future collaborations will be affected.

I am offended at the words chosen in the texts. It is not as if we just throw the task to @exochen_sg and be all carefree. We DID help to tweet for get people to buy from @exochen_sg. We DID deduct their instocks when people ordered MiD files during this period. We are not obliged to do so, but WE DID.

It is not our fault that @exochen_sg did not bother to start collecting payments until we requested for payment. Although I probably mentioned that they can pay us later but we'll order the files first, because they were pretty busy from the albums. I figured that it would be common sense to collect payments when people started to order, and when they confirmed the numbers with us. Maybe I assumed too fast.

We've been nice as well. We didn't complain that they are taking a really long time to make full payment. Our money shared the same fate as the files, it is just stuck there. What if we really needed money? What if there is a family emergency? WHAT ARE WE TO DO THEN?

In regards to the admin being criticized, I pity her. Yes, I understand that their purpose of it is to promote for Jongdae. We did not ask for people to criticize her or her fanbase. The fault is with those who did that and they should be ashamed of themselves. Regardless of @exochen_sg or other fanbase, we would have done the same thing, our actions would be the same. My opinion - other fanbase who faced the same situation would have to buy the files or get other people to buy them as well.

"I just want the files that our fanbase/those who had paid for to be collected within this week. After this, I won't even want to mention about it anymore"

This shows exactly why we delayed to pass them the files until full payment has been made. To me, this sounds like a demand, though I'm not sure what are the intentions of it neither do I want to clarify with the admin. There are still 10 over files that are unpaid for, and the fact that the admin said that they don't even want to mention about it anymore, are they saying that they are not going to do anything about it then?

Some things that Sky wants me to highlight.

1.We are both working full time, we absorb the losses. All the prices are based on estimation of weight, shipping fee and exchange rate. It is not guaranteed that we will make a profit for this album that you ordered, or this photobook, etc. Not all of estimation will be correct, and it's not always that the exchange is to our favor.

2.We are also earning that much only, even if the profits of the files combined are not even enough to make up for 50% of the loss. It is her responsibility to clean up her own mess. In reality, nobody is going to clean it up for her.

3. We have the right to withhold files because as a whole, they are not entirely paid for and that the amount we earned from MiD albums does not mean that we are require to cover losses that are caused by her.

Contrary to popular belief, we do not earn a lot considering the time and effort we put in to process orders and hold meet ups. (And we are holding onto adult ez-link cards, our per trip to anywhere can easily cost more than $1.50)

Frankly, I'm sick of this shit and the irresponsibility. I've discussed and persuaded Sky so that we will be giving @exochen_sg the files that they demanded for after they provide us with all the proof of transactions for all the files that they claimed to have paid for.

----

We've been collaborating with a few fanbase for a really long time, for example, afxsg and we've always helped them to order before the payment is in. We'd even pay for them first if needed because they don't have a bad debt. Actions are based on the character of the person. We don't want to be in the same predicament ever again.

Fanbases who would like to collaborate with us on a long term basis, do contact us. We still hope to provide better prices for fellow fans. However we will no longer help to order before they have made payment even if it means that there will be higher chance that people won't get their posters or things get out of stock. Unless you're our friend or someone who we think can be trusted. Don't hesitate to approach us as we'd like to establish a good rapport with various fanbase and the admins.

We'll be posting the solution for the remaining instocks that are worth more than $100. We'll also be doing something for a good cause, so I'd appreciate if you'll read our next notice aka Part 2.
I'll post it by 9pm if I'm not too busy at work.

Lastly, I'm sorry for the word vomit.
